Decided to play my Rogue again after many many years. Wanted to stealth around, but really wasn’t sure about the specs themselves. Assassination has turned out to be so satisfying. It’s just the right amount of DoTs to track and CDs to push and everything just slowly melts into perfect piles of rotting venom.
Really enjoying it, even tho all I do with the Rogue is delves.
This class is garbage, stealth broken, poisons don’t work well, vanish sucks, dies fast to AOE, no damage (PVP).

IS this from someone who plays a rogue or got played by a rogue?
Let me explain.
Rogues in TWW took a step back from where they were in DF but still miles better than BFA/systemlands. So Rogue is in a current state where veteran Rogues can dust off the old camaro and make it sing as it drives down the highway 85 MPH.
But if you are new or inexperienced to Rogue you are lost and don’t understand how the class can function with so much disfunction (eg stealth/vanish breaking, bugs, etc).
Both can be true at the same time so while it may see like a paradox it is true.
Rogue is a lot of fun. I’m happy you’re enjoying it, my favorite class in game sin/outlaw main

I still love my Sin Rogue. Though I admit I’ve considered going back to Sub.
Sub absolutely feels better to play RN than Sin. If Blizz wont fix the energy flow, Sin will always feel bad during the 0.0 patch.
