I am a 462 outlaw rogue. been playing him for almost 3 weeks. Still working on the rotation but my dps is not that great. I am serisouly considering rolling sin because I’ve heard it’s more dps. Is sin more dps? Is sin more aoe or ST or bursty? I am ex ret paladin and I used to be top ops. Now I am falling third in dps. I don’t want to give up on rogue because I love the play style so much. What should I do?
This might be helpful. Stats for your item level. Boss damage only.

Sounds like you need to decide what’s more important to you. Playing a spec you enjoy or being top damage.

Assassination is only more dps then outlaw if you have a steady source of PI and/or augvoker buffing you. In terms of raw ST damage outlaw is currently the best spec in the game (in sims). It can be hard to pull off in a real environment tho.
If you expect to simple switch to sin and see your damage go up alot you may be disappointed, because assassination is not strictly more damage then outlaw without PI.

Sin aoe is also way more up keep than just blade flurry.
Good boss damage and prio though.

yeah you’re right. I enjoy the class and spec outlaw so much. I’m just gonna keep playing him. but I want to perfect the rotation
