(and also best alliance race for both pvp and pve content ?) ?
Nelf basically gives you another Vanish. Either Dwarf basically gives you another cloak.
Sub gives you a free shadowstep effect every mob pull with Shadowblade *oops shadow strike *, without using a shadowstep cooldown.
I macroed Shadow strike with Symbols of Death, which has no gcd, so it gets automatically used about every other pull.
The blinky sneaky thing is really fun.
Sweet so sub would be great way to 50 ?
To my taste, it’s the most fun of the specs, and I just did one 1-50 in just a few days.
What heirlooms works well with this and enchantments (weapons) ?
I just use Elemental Force (MoP) on my weapons and Mark of the Hidden Satyr (Legion) on my Neck. The rest all scale pretty terrible and are just small stat increase like +1. These two proc enough to be worth it. Just put these on whatever dagger heirloom you have and whatever neck you have. The proc will be worth more than the stats probably, so choice on which heirloom probably won’t matter.
I think you mean Shadow Strike. Shadow Blade has a 3 minute cooldown
As far as Races go
Alliance
Human/NE/Dwarf
Horde
Orc/UD/BE
Sub is harder to play but has better burst. Sin is easier to play but is more of a dot based spec. I havent leveled a rogue in the new leveling process though. I suggest playing what you enjoy
I decided on sub rogue and keen to learn xD
Yes, I probably do.
Go with sub for leveling, it is rarely a good raid or dungeon spec, you might as well have fun with it while leveling. Early shadowlands impressions are that it might become the go-to raid spec, however, so you might as well level with it to practice just in case!
Planning to go outlaw to 50 then sub for rest of content
Subtlety still has the energy starvation and the wet noodle damage in between your Dance bursts, which make it a bit tricky to level with.
Yes, Shadowstrike is a nice gap-closer, but you don’t get Dance for quite a while starting out.
Honestly, I’d say Assassination for leveling – at least through level 30 or through Pre-patch altogether. The poisons and the bleeds do wonders for base damage and energy regen.
Once you get to 30+, each spec starts to feel more fluid and can really go either way and it comes down to burst (Subtlety) or sustained (Assassination) or bedlam (Outkaw.)
Pick your poison…literally
Then, when we’re level 60, you get to rebalance all over again! Joy!
this is going to be fixed tues shadow strike was made melee range
this is my rogue sorry but sin and outlaw are best for lvling but if u plan to play sub end game it is nice to learn sub as u level
Are you talking about the bug where Shadow Strike was hitting like a ranged attack? That got fixed a while ago.
I haven’t seen anything about the shadowstep type effect going away. That would be terrible, as it’s a big part of what makes that spec fun.
30 isn’t really quite a while anymore, I’ve been consistently hitting 30 as I’m finishing Frostfire Ridge quests.
So Outlaw Rogue to 50 and onwards from what iv seen best for m+ and raiding ?
