I love the collateral, is like everytime someoen cries because of an specific hunter thing, another 3 more hunter things get nerfed with the hammer too. Lovely blizzard, lovely.

might be a bug since my aspect of the lion isnt buffing nearby allies as well. We can only hope its a bug and not another nerf lol

they made it so only the people in party get buffed with the aspect (how it shouid be tbh. But in the process of doing that they removed the ability for the pets to get it as well (dunno why) but whatever. Makes it an even better reason to not use that rune anyways.

Yep. I called it. I knew they wouldn’t just nerf the bugged pet. They have to destroy everything else to make sure Hunters can’t have the consolation of being top damage in return for getting absolutely nothing new or interesting in season of Discovery. Eff hunters, right? Those guys need to be doing average damage or below while also having the worst runes in the game. Because that’s what they deserve.

Yup my pet goes from 156 stam to 147. Day ~1~ 0 of hunters not having a nerf. Good job on making it so more hunters have to run this run (which being buff bot isn’t always fun) but it actively nerfs the 1 spec that goes with it (BM) and makes it so more hunters need to go this. What a joke

I wonder if they’ll even fix it. I like how we can’t even get community notes on this stuff, but they’ll put them out for hot fixes that barely matter. It’s just a constant middle finger to Hunters who never asked for the four overpowered runes they started with, two of which were nerfed into the ground before the game even came out, and only because content creators made videos about how Hunters will be the strongest class. It just goes to show they neither play nor test these things, and they just don’t care at all about the hunter class. We just wanted some fun new gameplay.

Is this what you call balance? Nerfing their runes into the ground? There’s almost nothing left for hunter to enjoy. We are a near-identical copy of era with some slight passive upgrades. All the other runes are unusable outside of BM, Master Marksman, Aspect of the Lion (maybe?? It’s bugged), kill command (sort of)

Balance certainly isn’t hunter pets soloing players on their own with their damage. Surely a middle ground can be reached where Hunters are relevant without being completely oppressive.
True. And now Hunters will never be able to 1v1 anyone ever again as BM. Balance is supposed to strike a middle ground. They always take it too far. No one was defending the bug or saying scorpids weren’t overpowered.

Sorry you entire build, all your talent points, and the entire aspect of your class is based around doing 1 thing (BM pets being strong) that just isn’t enough! /s. Can’t have hunters being good now, you know? I still don’t get the reason for the Lion buff. It is just a hard nerf on every single other hunter spec making them not even playable.

All of the specs are pretty much bad now because they don’t have any synergy with the runes that are in the game. BM was the last hope. It’s the only glove rune that isn’t trash. What does it matter what spec you run if the runes are bad?

If you’re a hunter, the best thing you can do is unsub for now, until blizzard reverses the changes. They destroyed the entire class and shouldn’t get away with it
