I play many different toons. One thing I always liked was being able to out run everyone as a hunter. Last Xpac Blizz nerfed cheetah. It really needs to get readdressed now. Nearly all classes can out run a hunter… That’s just backwards.
At least change the CD to 1min instead of 3 min.

You’re exaggerating too much. Hunter is about average right now in terms of speed. Posthaste is pretty damn good with how short the cooldown on DIsengage is.
I wouldn’t complain if Cheetah had a shorter cooldown, but I would never say that Hunters are slow.
Hunter speed varies a lot with spec too. Surv is faster since they also get Harpoon, then BM because it never needs to stop to cast so it can run nonstop, and MM is slower because Aimed Shot is a slow cast.
Either way hunters foundation over any other class was built on the ability to kite and keep distance if played right. I think in cheatahs current iteration it needs to be a 1 minute or 1.5 min cd instead of 3. Preferably 1 minute on par with rogue and druid dashes. As they are similar. It makes sense.
