Didn’t one of the guys from Jackass basically decide he had enough money and chose to play games (by himself, not as a public activity) rather than do any more stunt work?
So it can happen. Just 1 million dollars is a middle class existence in capital gains with zero risk. If he has like 5-10 mil he could easily be set for life. Especially if he lives frugally.
That guy will never quit he knows most people watch him for WoW and he doesn’t work so this is his main source of income and he’s also smart enough to realize most of his fans will slowly fade away because he’s bad at all other games he plays.
Have to keep those views coming in some joe with the delay. He’ll be there at launch. How do people fall for this?

think asmond said he makes 10k a month (i’m sure thats only on good months) meaning he would have to be streaming over 10 yrs to make a million, most of which he probably spent on burgers, fries and dr pepper.

I’m sadly going to agree with him, I unsubbed 5 accounts a few minutes ago, time better spent elsewhere until the man with the flailing hands reverts some of the downright odd design decisions they did to a game I love. i’m on lurker mode until the sub runs out hope pre-patch is good.

Honestly, for what it’s worth, I get where he’s coming from. Shadowlands has so, so many things consistently wrong with it and instead of those things being addressed Blizzard constantly seems to be hell-bent on making new problems out of stuff that isn’t exactly broken, and these are even more apparent with the recent series of changes on the Beta that just make me look and go “…but why?”
I really can’t blame anyone for wanting to quit at the moment. After the colossal failure that was BFA, if Shadowlands sucks the game will die. Shadowlands needs to be a damn masterpiece of an expansion at the level of TBC or Wrath in order to not suck.

Ridiculous overreaction on his part. Shadowlands has almost everything that he was asking about for years, and still he latches on to every single nitpick he can find in order to be as mad as he possibly can.
He’s had just as many hype videos

Might be a little easier if he was a variety streamer. One game sucks, oh well just don’t play it, but he is specifically a WoW streamer who may sometimes dabble in other games casually.
The big point I’m taking is that Blizzard REALLY needs to pay attention because if someone who plays that much, who is that dedicated to the game and depends on it for their livelihood is considering quitting… you must really be doing something wrong. lol
