btw you must not like anyone on the forums hardly cause most agreed with what he was saying but oh ya only your opinion matters. i love your anger tho.
Quitting would probably be good for him. He gets a disproportionate amount of toxic bovines from people like the priest a few posts above me. It seems like he feels trapped. If the WoW community wasnāt so toxic he may have moved on already, or at least diversified.
Not that I can pretend to understand him.
I donāt think heās quitting, but I can kinda imagine he does sorta want to. Itās just his channel is pretty much built around WoW now and gets revenue off streaming it mostly so itās food on the table and thus itās hard to give that up. Weāre all let down tho, so if he does genuinely feel that way and is actually sullen I can understand that feeling.
As an update it looks like Ion reverted the changes. This game is not ready. They need to take a step back and re-evaluate their roadmap and potentially move things out a patch. Why do they keep creating more problems to solve, they have massive bugs to fix.
Heās not going to quit WoW.
He said heās considering it, but heās considered quitting before and heās still around.
its just more clickbait catastrophising to get his fanbase worked up and make him money. thats basically all asmongold knows how to do anymore.
if he IS quitting, frankly I think that would be one of the better things to come out of SL.
When he kept saying āWho asked for this?ā it made me think of real life. Most people work 40 hours a week doing jobs that mostly provide no benefit, some are even harmful to us. Nobody wants it, nobody needs it, nobody asked for it. Since WoW is basically a second life for a lot of us the same thing is happening. Tin foil hat: whoever is putting these systems in are the same ones that are making real life suck.
Just the whiny attention-seeking Boychildās latest attempt to garner views at the end of an expac.
Alot of people of these GD are pieces of sā¦
Just sayin. Just pure vitriol to any content creator or streamer of ANY sense. Doesnāt matter who.
Why should I care? Streamers quit games all the time, or take breaks.
i donāt hate the dude but i honestly donāt care that much if he plays wow or not.
I also donāt think him quitting or playing will influence sub numbers that significantly, people gonna play w/e they want to play, and likely a lot of his viewers not even subbed to wow anyways.
Well so far what Iāve seen looks sucky. I am playing now because Iām geared up and grind is done. No way Iām looking forward to SL. Once i see the path if it does not seem reasonable I wonāt do it. I hope itās not as bad as I think it is.
I kind of agree, Shadowlands looks pretty awful. I really do not look forward to trying to upkeep several dumb systems at once. Have not bought it, and likely wonāt
Oh boy, the monthly asmon is quitting wow post.
Who? /10char
Honestly, it would do the game a favor if he and his rabid fanboys left the game.
Thatās just my opinion.
meh. who cares if he quits or not. It dosnāt effect me
Who cares what a youtuber thinks or does? You guys hold these people too high.
I almost didnāt start playing WoW because I watched people play WoW. Itās one of the most boring things Iāve ever seen.
(a) If heās invested his money wisely, he could just retire.
(2) If he has a backup game, like FFXIV, heāll move on to that game, but heāll take a big hit in subscribers. If (a) is true, this wonāt matter and heās hopefully playing a game he likes.
(*) Heāll just keep playing WoW because we all just keep playing WoW. Itās the same reason that people see the zombie of a loved one, but they canāt kill it. Too much invested emotion.
He didnāt say heās quitting. Stop making sht up.
