It’s just drama. He’ll take a break for a while but it’s his moneymaker. He won’t be going anywhere.

I think he is just like most WoW players, he hates how the game is and keeps playing it. He feels like quitting, but he won’t, we all been there.

Wrong. He can play Dark Souls, Among us or other games and pull similar views. Asmon is correctly noticing the downward trend that WoW/Blizzard is on right now and hes branching out before the inevitable collapse happens same as Sodapoppin and others did.

They originally thought to restrict Shadowlands covenant abilities to the Shadowlands themselves.

They were on the fence about it according to their own words but thankfully they reverted it due to the overwhelming negative feedback.

I do get where they’re coming from but overall the reasoning is so bleh…Blizzard needs to worry lesss about what people do and do not, can and can’t do and let them play the game.

This tailoring the game to the extreme in which people will accomplish for their reasons is getting utterly disgusting.

His livelihood depends on youtube videos, he is not quitting wow anytime soon.

He’ll be back for Shadowlands, but after that he might. However the thing is he’s a WoW addict like heavy dose on to the point he knows most of the lore and items. He’s literally soulbound to the game at this point which isn’t a bad thing, but if Blizzard screws up even more I can see it being permanent.

Nope, this time feels different and everyones tired of the way things are going with Blizz and the posts we see on twitter from employees.

Also you can’t really make that argument when the current game has 1/10th the active subs that WOTLK did.

No, it’s his twitch money. Youtube is just icing on the cake.

That’s exactly why he can quit. He could retire right now without a care in the world or stream whatever else he wants to and retain more viewers than a lot of other streamers ever hope to gain.

It’s a publicity stunt. If he’s not there in SL launch day I’ll eat my tricorne hat.

That being said it’s hilarious when he tries and fails at other games, he went to ESO and immediately got bodied in PvP :joy:

Aye thank you for noticing  I did it as a joke at first but now I’m loving it LOL!

He’s made enough money to retire now if he wanted to and he still would pull in 50k+ viewers playing Dark Souls or Among us, plus making react videos for youtube.

He doesn’t need WoW, WoW needs him, its a dying game. Notice how hes one of the last big WoW streamers left? Almost everyone else has quit or branched out to other games only coming back to play a bit when a new expansions coming out.

That dude is more addicted to this game, than the people who post on this forum. He’s not going anywhere :joy:

The point still stands.

He makes too much money whining about wow/community…

He doesn’t have enough audience for other games.
