This is less about Asmongold and more about what people should try for instead of just 20 man Onyxia’s.
(However this definitely makes Asmongolds legacy that much greater)

Allow me to rephrase: the firsts in vanilla have absolutely zero bearing on who was the first to do something in Classic.
In addition, linking a video of 4 people wearing full Naxxramas gear downing Onyxia (Rogue was in T2.5, but you get the point) as evidence that 10 people wearing Phase 1 gear downing Onyxia isn’t impressive is silly and you know it.

why not? it’s the same game, heck, classic is even easier due to starting on a later patch, why shouldn’t records set in classic be compared to actual vanilla?

If you think the records should be compared to actual vanilla, then people doing 10 man Onyxia before BWL is even out is obviously fairly impressive, no?
In vanilla, they managed to get it down to 4 people by Naxxramas. In Classic, it’s down to 10 (probably fewer by actual skilled players) in Phase 1.
I can’t even find LBRS group to get Warlord’s Command completed.
