I didn’t understand what the whole sword question meant and ions reaction and response. Is it some inside joke?

One does not simply ask the question that shall not be answered.

they’ve done nothing with sword. no one in the world acknowledges the sword.

so the running joke is one day the sword will just be removed without us noticing. then will tell future players about the sword and the response will be, What sword?

That sword is basically like the Deathwing damage in Stormwind. It’ll be around for a few expansions longer than it makes sense.

I’d love to see it covered in scaffolding crewed by Gnomes, Goblins, and Kobolds while it slowly disappears over the course of an expansion.
