Asmon interview to be one of many

Sry to bring this up again but the article finished with “the plan to be one of many” and, “we continue to do this, more and more. That is what the plan is.”

So, is this how Ion is going to communicate with players? Not a bad plan. I don’t use Twitter, and don’t know how else they communicate - except for PR releases that backfire. Maybe this way he buffets the insults through a third party this way… lol, but if may be helpful.

I’m guessing not everyone will be happy with this way of communicating with us.

If this was already brought up, again apologies and just ignore. Thx

It’s weird to me they would want him to interview Ion since he’s quit the game repeatedly.

It actually makes sense if you are looking to lure back dissatisfied players. A lot of them are likely in his audience.

I seriously try to stay as far away from this guy and anything he has to do with it.

I cant stand a single thing that comes out of his mouth .

wasn’t he all over the internet bashing and spreading hate for wow over the last year ?

That, and the downright nasty shiz he was involved in back in WoD. With doing raid runs, while his cronies bartered places in those runs for certain types of pictures.

I was watching that stream. I well remember those shenanigans. First and last stream of his I ever watched.

gg, Blizz, realllllyyyy tryna clean up your act, right? Hypocrites, the lot of them.

He plays the game part-time. Is that what “quitting repeatedly” means to you? His fans pay him to play games that are fun to watch. That’s not wow. That’s Vampire Survivors.

If my product was slowing dying, I’d ask the people who left why. Not the people still playing.

If Ion can back up his words with actions, I’ll be very happy. I’m already rather pleased about what I’ve heard from him so far, just gotta back it up now.

Who cares about Asmongold, he is so 2021.

He bailed on WoW to play the ‘superior’ FFXIV.

So is he back on WoW now? Never mind, don’t answer that. I’m pretty sure I know the answer.

More power to him, the dude is hilarious and he has been talking smack yes out of frustration, but also constantly rambling on improvements for wow.

Same this goes for many others… preach, pyromancer, pint etc

He has been playing all sorts of games. WoW was losing him viewers and it’s not been in a great spot for awhile. He stopped on final fantasy for a bit just like WoW because there are tons of great viewer games out right now. He never left just took a little break.

His bank account says he’s still relevant…

I never understood the streamer=hate mentality unless you are perma jelly.

This not central to asmon either…

These guys are living advertisements for the game and that is nothing but good for the game.

Ion is just trying to create positive PR for DF so it sells and players stay.

They would let me interview them at this point. This expansion is all about bringing lost players back. Dev interviews and other marketing campaigns generate hype

Thats their goal. So dont find it so shocking

I don’t really care about random greaseballs with webcams, but if it means more communication from developers then I’m all for it.

Interview starting in one minute!!! :scream::scream::scream:

Good, people here can seethe and cry but this dude has over 100k eyes on the game right now, MUCH more eyes on than any of the prior interviews which might bring more people to the game.

calling it now he will be dissing and flaming WoW right after the interview for viewers and clicks. would prefer if WoW distance themselves for hype toxic people like him and paid him no heed.
