Asking upgrade advice for Dragonflight

Hello All.

First, thank you all very much for your advice.

I live in Brazil, where pricing is rather different from US. I am buying a new rig and among the different options, which is critical for performance and which options I can buy the cheaper options? Only picked those recommended by Blizzard in the system specs for DF.

Processors:
i5-10400F (cheaper) /i3-12100F / i5-11400F / Ryzen 5 5600X / i5-12400F

GPU:
RTX 3050 8GB/ 3060 12GB/ 3060Ti 8GB

What is your max budget in USD? Also, what is your monitor resolution?

$1500 USD. I found a store nearby my town (convenient for replacement, etc) that also has good prices:

About the monitor: 1600x1200, but I plan to upgrade it in the future.

12400F would be best then probably 11400F vs 5600X. As for GPU RTX 3050 probably is a bit low if you want good fidelity. 3060 or 3060 Ti. Also, check prices for Radeon RX 6600 and 6600 XT. Then Good 16GB dual channel RAM and a SSD (512GB or 1TB)

But should I prioritize the i5-12400F (with the RTX 3050) or the RTX 3060 Ti (with the i5-11400F)?

Already many thanks for the answer, guys!

11400F + 3060 Ti seems a way better combo but do check if there are other options.

Got room for whatever you like. Feel free to tune it for yourself. Like motherboard with more USB and features? Better CPU? 16GB X2 RAM? If you need me to draft lower priced spec, shoot.

Becareful when you buy everything from the shop. Do not trust the seller. They might give you terrible parts.

are you going to build yourself?

The 5600 should outperform 11 gen Intel and I wouldn’t go for anything less than 3060ti for video card.

No, I’m going to buy it already bullet.

oh ok i would prioritize the 3060ti and 16 GB of ram (32 GB if possible), then the CPU you can still afford
