Is it me, or does Revendreth remind anyone of Ravenloft of the D&D line?
Will the covenant spells and class abilities be carried forward post shadowlands? or is it another expansion power progression system we are destined to lose?
if so, with the class retooling is there plans to keep adding to class toolkit or other means of more permanent development post shadowlands instead of relying on a expansion by expansion system that is later dumped?
+1
To add to this: Are you planning on revising any of the specs? How will you handle returning class abilities with specializations that have changed since then, namely survival hunters. How will you insert ranged abilities into a spec that has been changed to melee?
The Night Warrior was originally created in reference to honoring and protecting dead Night Elves in War of the Ancients. She also carried away Ysera’s soul from her corrupted body. Will her power over souls and death be used in this story, given what Sylvannas had done to her people and the Novellas mentioning that Elune was against Sylvannas?
What happened to the sword sticking out of Azeroth?
Will there be new customization options for all races? Will hairstyles be shared across all races, even allied races? I feel as though some allied races are lacking in customization.
Thank you!
Even though the fourth war is considered “over”, the night elves and gilneans does not agree and still want revenge against the undead for both their homelands. Is there gonna be some kind of final assault before Battle for Azeroth ends? Perhaps battle for gilneas as an 8.4 to give gilneans and nightelves a capital city in next expansion.
Cenarius was mentioned to have gone to Ardenweald when he died. Why did Ursoc not go to Ardenweald when he died? Also, why do some spirits, such as animals and Furbolgs in the Dream reflection of Grizzly Hills, go to the Emerald Dream as their afterlife?
Will our choice of covenant be ‘predetermined’ by our preferred role (healer, tank, dps), or will each covenant provide competitive abilities for each role?
Will Allied Races get expanded customization in the future? If so, how long?
In Shadowlands, will I need to “sim” myself before making my covenant choice? I.E. will certain covenants favor one class or spec over another? - Thank you and cheers o7
With all the hints scattered in Nazjatar and in 8.2.5, it seemed logical the next step would be to get rid of the faction divide and allow people to play cross faction. Is this a change that is being looked at going forward for Shadowlands or is it just some fun flavor text?
Are you finally getting rid of CRZ?
Will PvP realms be a thing again?
Will pathfinding last 2/3 of the xpac or 7/8?
Will heirlooms still work with the level squish?
Typically in WoW, certain pieces of content are removed at the end of an expansion. I was wondering if you could talk about which things are currently planned to remain in-game, and which things are set to be limited time only? Things like Warfronts, Visions of N’zoth, the new legendary cloaks, the Heart of Azeroth and it’s quests, are something that we’re not sure about. Thanks for your time!
Too much music isn’t on the soundtrack for whatever reason. Could you consider a soundtrack per patch? The 8.1 music for Darkshore alone is incredible. The 8.2 music for Nazjatar and the Other Side in Mechagon and … there’s too much! Legion was the same; some of the prettiest music (like in the Nighthold, Shal’aran, etc.) was just not on the soundtrack, making it nearly worthless to me.
Music brought me to WoW and I want more of it. Will you let me give you money for more music, please?
Can pathfinder be removed entirely for old xpacs if you have a max level (60) toon already?
Will the collectors edition work the same way with pre-purchasing as it did for BfA?
Can we still solo old raids for mogs and mounts without any loss of player power?
Why are Lightforged Draenei the only Allied Race that cannot be Monks, yet Robot Gnomes can??
Why can I hover to mine ore but have to land to pick a plant?
