I am a big lore buff and watch various lore videos,have my own lore books and even did some ingame investigations of my own.
I dont think the lore of warlock is being destroyed and they are even giving us lore for new warlock races.
I am doing this because I’ve seen people falsely claiming that warlock lore is being destroyed etc and want to correct any misconceptions.

Lightforged draenei lore is being messed up.
I have lots of questions about how they feel about their members being warlocks. Is it possible to be a warlock and then become lightforged? Or do you need to become lightforged and then become a warlock? Are they tollerated/accepted? Do lightforged have their own subfaction of warlocks thats supported by their lightforged cult people?
However warlock lore is still fine. Warlocks just do what they do. Theres nothing to stop like a panda or night elf being interested in that type of magic.
Zandalari troll warlock lore would be nice to learn about. I think they have some affinity for demonology is that right?
Playable mag har have many reasons to hate fel and even disdain Orc green skin with great disdain.
But many of their younger generations only grew up with stories of such things and werent alive to see what happenend during warlords of draenor.
While ppl wise, they would reject fel due due to their culture and recent history being passed down.
So unlike the ppls of azeroth that have many active Prejudices and active reasons to hate so and so, demons arent really active in their minds except for stories that are passed down.
The new lore seems individualistic but its also sensible that without any real interaction besides stories and what happened with the lightbound, some would be willing to embrace dark magic, especially as a weapon against the light.
The Zandalari have always had dealings with demons so it was really stupid not to give them that race/class combo in the first place.
Fun fact: The Zandalari figured out how to be demon hunters without Illidan’s help. Matter of fact, makes you wonder if Illidan stole the idea from them if you consider how old the troll race is (elves are descended from them.)
Anyways, if you’re curious:
They were originally gonna be locks when they were in BFA. But Blizz realized “oh wait paladins” and changed it. Which is funny because then they had to change the paladin lore to “Yes Rezan was their source of power and he’s dead. But the paladins believe SO HARD they still get their powers”

Well, there was Zandalari Prelates on the Isle of Thunder and Freethinkers from the old vanilla ZG questline were believed to be paladins.
Well back then they didn’t really establish the whole Rezan thing so they could vibe with it in MoP without thinking about it lol

Light forged is seemingly a permanent process that alters the body, but there isnt much to suggest it would reject dark magic just cause.
Warlocks dont use exclusively fel magic, they dabble in everything taboo which also touches the magical kingdom called decay, which is taboo and feared by shamans, its why I often call warlock and shamans 2 sides of the same coin, as shamans deal with more natural and positive entities, warlocks go beyond and dont let fear or taboos hold back who they bargain with.
Light is an eon long enemy of fel, but that is due to a stark difference with how they operate, Light and void have shown to be able to mingle and there have been both cases of light uses going to the fel and fel users going to the light.
So there is definately a way back and nothing outright ousting them from 1 magical source to the other.
While cases of extreme fel mutation or curses prevent people from invoking the light, there is nothing known of light beings invoking fel and what effect it would have on them if any, I would assume not much as the light has already intimately changed them.
It may even help in the long run of preventing fel corruption and gradually turns the user into a demon(gaining demon features such as horns or altered skin) with prolong use of fel magic.
are there any Adams among the warlocks and have they had their former power gutted as much as a certain other universe?

Orcs turned green due to drinking mannoraths blood and it has infected generations of orcs, seemingly being permanent at this stage.
Since mag har havent drank anything so demonicially concocted, there is no reason to suggest they would radicially change overnight, but lorewise long use of fel magic has physical alterations such as growing horns or a change of skin color, we dont know if this would result in green skin as other orcs have followed similar processes and got red and even black,cracked skin.
Warlocks also arent purists so they dont deal exclusively with fel like demon hunters, they dabble in everything forbidden and warlocks have even ripped off dragon aspects such as deathwing, with cataclysm spell being influenced by him.
Another way to decribe warlocks is possibly to call the mimics as they try to emulate how other worldly being cast magic that is otherwise natural to them but to artificial recreate it as a warlock for mortal use.
Mages fire and ice is still arcane magic, arcane being used like a language(engine) to make fire and ice, but otherwise its all man made spells.
Its all made with arcane magic where warlocks dabble in multiple magical kingdoms that others consider taboo or to dangerious(mostly with good reason) such as decay which is a lower kingdom of death magic.
Pandaren are known for their delicious brews.
Warlocks are known for their… not so delicious brews.
