I really wish they did more with her new form, it kind of looks like a placeholder as is - bland and non-impactful. Wench Ashvane deserves more IMO. Maybe it’s because they want so much of the focus to be on Azshara.

I too am on team “Elune is secretly really an Old God.” I’m not quite so sure about N’zoth being Elune, in my mind Elune is an Old God that landed on the Moon instead of Azeroth. But there is definitely something going on between Elune and N’zoth, not sure what yet (I’m envisioning Elune as the sister to N’zoth etc.). I think that’s partly why some Night Elves were “willing” to be raised.
As to what Ashvane says in this thread, Sylvanas obviously wants the events of 8.2 to go down, including rescuing Baine. I am still, perhaps naively, holding out hope that this will end up being for a good reason.
