Just had to quit an Ashran because the lag was gamebreaking, players were flitting all over the place! I mean wtf, this horrid map is forced on us in epic queues, I will stomach it to get my epic honor quest done, but with this disgusting lag it is literally unplayable and then you get a 15 min deserter debuff for quitting a broken map… Please EITHER give us blacklisting again OR TOSS ASHRAN IN THE DUMPSTER!

This is has been happening since at least the start of BFA, if not earlier. Ashran repeatedly lagging to the point where everyone is running on the spot for 5 or more seconds at a time. Unfortunately they still haven’t fixed or acknowledged that there’s a problem.
People previously speculated it was all the Azerite procs lagging out the server, but now they’re gone and the problem is still here, it’s apparent that wasn’t the cause and the problem is more fundamental.
Hopefully a fix is coming at some point and the Epic BG playlist becomes playable again.
