It reminds me of Star Wars Galaxies. I want a game with skill points and professions/classes to pick and choose and mix anything
Im tired of the linear class designs I want that very old school skill point system
SWG had 32 professions and 250 skill points
Awesome and good fun times back then with complete player control and immersive feeling in sandbox worlds in star wars universe, like 9 planets. I was like 12 so that game was magical to me. Good times forever. Modern day digital memories lol 1st world problems
Looks good, however, I donât need another subscription in my life. Amazon, Hulu, Netflix, game pass, wow, etc. There are so many out there. I wouldnât be surprised people wonder where their money went. Iâd rather buy the game like ESO, where you have the option to sub with perks.
I know weâre all just memeing in here, but WoW has a really strong pve core which I canât see AoC matching. Most of the stuff in AoC revolves around pvp, even what raids are up depends on it. Your house getting destroyed because someone sacked your city while you were on hiatus sounds awful, and 10 people in the world having the godly ability to fly seems extremely unbalanced. Wanting an economy based node when the rest of your friends want science and another guild wants something else entirely will likely lead to a lot of arguements.
AoC seems like a game Classic players would enjoy more than retail ones. Still I hope the game does well, and I will certainly try it when it releases.
Ashes of Creation fills a different niche than WoW does. The type of game that it is is interesting! But itâs also not what WoW has. If I want high quality raids, it doesnât look like Ashes of Creation has that. However, if I want an open world where I can be a shop owner that makes things for people out of the back of a caravan, I can do that. So it really depends on what people want to do.
Side note: games can coexist. One does not have to kill the other.
Basically this. Until the game is out and maintains a strong community for longer than a couple of years⌠this is all just wishful thinking. Iâll admit, a lot of it looks cool, but will it actually work out as the devâs envision it?
