Donât know why you would want the game to fail by pissing off casuals but you do you.
Tired of losing? lol
Why are you replying to someone and then replying to the same comment a few minutes later?
No there not, wow is the winner only.
Dota, LOL, they have WAY More players than wow, like 10x as many each. PVP is where the players are, not PVE. Wow carebearing and causalitying the game is what took 12m subs to 4m.
The reason people leave the PVP mmos, is the devs get greedy and make it Hella pay to win, and PVP players will pay. Or they are terrible at balancing and it just becomes a hot mess. Or if the game is designed as such, super guilds can take over and bleed players off the server. Most PVP mmos have these 3 issues, the servers implode due to super power communityâs who snowball to get stronger and stronger.
WoW II is the one true WoW Killa.
Hopefully that comes before 2030
Iâve never played game with fully open pvp where ganking wasnât a problem. No system can contain griefers.
Itâs coming in 2020, actually. WoW 2 is called World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. Sorry.
Nah. There wasnât as much people on retail for about a week, and then it went back to normal.
Ashes looks and sounds very lame. At least graphics are nice I guess
Thats BFA 2.0, where they plan to try and bleed even more of the player base, with the same stupid stuff people complain about not being listened to. WOW is actively trying to kill itself.
Classic had more subs then Retail for the first 5 months. Blizzard themselves said this in the earnings report.
It may have felt like a couple weeks looking back, but it was months bud.
I think 10.0 will literally be called World of Warcraft 2 TBH. I know Ion has partially debunked the time skip but I think something like that is still going to happen. Theyâre moving up too many pieces and setting up too many systems. Theyâve updated tons of old models like Quillboars, Murlocs, Naga, Ogres, basically everything âevergreenâ or core to the classic wow experience has gotten updates. I feel like those assets are part of their grand plan.
I didnt say I wanted the game to fail.
I said it was inevitable. A large community of mostly PVP players left wow, due to wanting a challenging game. They dont want welfare systems and want to be able to 1 shot noobs.
Some stayed and fight for this in WOW, blizzard doesnât listen and the wheels keep turning.
The companies on the outside, think they can get the niche by making a hard game, where the cuasuals will hate it, and HCs will love it.
That works for a time, the HCs have fun, the Causuals donât. The Causuals Leave there is less players to harass and so the HCs follow till the next title, where the causuals are ready to be beat on some more for awhile. And the cycle of HC PVP MMOs continues.
So basically, youâre saying that PvP based mmoâs are destined to fail if they donât have a pve server.
You still donât understand the intent behind each post. Hereâs a hint, context isnât built merely by the title of the thread.
Ashes of Creation is for you!

Oh sorry I was in a groove. Nah you are welcome to think what you want. I canât tell you what to do with your money but I would suggest caution when it comes to âwow killersâ lol, seeing as you knowâŚwow is still here.
Thereâs no such thing as Classic having more subs. The subscription pays for both Retail and Classic. Iâve heard about Classic greatly increasing the amount of subs, but thatâs not what I was responding to.
I was responding to the OP saying that Classic killed Retail for five months. That has nothing to do with increased subs - itâs about the population of Retail before Classic, and after. In my experience, Retail returned to normal after the first week.
