Did anyone else play Asherons Call 2? I loved that game and I am wondering if there are any aspects of it that WoW could integrate in order to make it more enjoyable. Did anyone else play it?
I do remember pvp being rather fun and also farming mats was rather interesting. You would basically click a map that would teleport you to an area with ore and use a compass that would kind of direct you towards the ores out in the beautiful scenery areas.
I played Asheron’s Call, and was one of the pioneers of the Vassal/Patron XP chains. I then moved to AC2 when they released it, and was the first on my server to hit max level, by discovering a glitch in that dragon area that allows me to attack the dragons without being attacked back. I only played the game for a couple of months before getting bored.
Never played AC2 but AC1…Now that was a game. I wonder how much different MMO’s would be if AC was as popular as EverQuest. AC had great storytelling, a skill system instead of hard set classes, and a very sandboxy in feel. Quest where there but you had to investigate to find them.
