When it says “increased chance to use an execptional spell or ability”, does it actually do anything?
Because when I use Convoke without Ashamane’s Guidance, I get 4 Ferocious Bite while only getting 3 with Ashamane’s Guidance since it reduces the duration.
“Feral Frenzy” is the execptional ability in cat form
Each of the specs (forms) has an exceptional ability
No form - Flourish
Bear - Pulverize
Moonkin - Full Moon
Cat - Feral Frenzy
The way the game determines whether or not it will cast the ability is through a “deck of cards” system.
For 2m convoke, the deck is 5 cards; the exceptional spell is one of the 5 cards, you “draw” from the deck with each cast and don’t “reshuffle” until all 5 are drawn.
For 1m convoke, the concept is the same, but with a deck of 2 instead.

Thank you very much for the explanation! I was under the impression Ferocious bite was the exception ability because it wasn’t listed under Convoke’s tooltip.
Sometimes I get an adaptive swarm in resto form (not tree), and 4 second fluorish. in Feral form (as resto) i can get a few spells i don’t have.
