Ascendence is currently ridiculously out dated, hasn’t aged well, and desperately needs a update.
My biggest frustration is that a Trinket gives us the form I’ve dreamed off, it’s what our Ascendence should of been turning into an Elemental. The Trinket I’m Speaking about is Storm-Eater’s Boon.
This is what our Ascendence should of been, actually becoming Elementals for the duration, it basically uses the same model as the Primal Stormling pre patch pet.
This would be perfect for Enhance, a Fire version for Elemental and Water Version for Resto.
We desperately need a visual update, while I do wish we could get our glyph back of Ascendence but baseline this is what Ascendence should be.
Why is it a Trinket provide more Shaman class fantasy then the actual class itself.
While we’re at it, could we please, please update our Totems for our core Races, they look absolutely horrible and outdated aswell as our Lightning Bolt.

It should turn us into a similar model to one of the vault bosses who is ascended.
So we see our characters, not some dumb cata model.

I would also like this if we can’t be Elementals, anything is better then what we have. I feel like theirs so much they could have done, I understand they might of run out of time, but they seem to be pumping out cosmetics for trading post when most classes need visual updates.
Yes this. I am not a huge fan of metamorphosis talents … I’d rather see my character empowered.

They do not even need to do much - glyph of Ascendance that lets you keep your character’s appearance with just additional colours / animations already exists in the game.
Blizzard could improve these animations and add a bit more visual effects to them - surrounding lava for Flame Ascendance, surrounding winds for Wind Ascendance and surrounding water currents for Water Ascendance, but at the very least could just return this glyph as an option.

all for more options, but I love ascendance how it is, its one of my favorite things, if they add something new i hope it just becomes an option, i loved the old cheetah on druid and as much as i think the new one is cool, the old one just got tossed out completley instead of having a choice.
hopefully they just let there be more options
They should make Shamans more customizable in general, like druids. Give us different options for Ghost Wolf and Ascendance would be a good start.
