Can we get an updated ascendance model? It’s arguably our only actual CD and the spell shares a model with some throw-off mobs from Cataclysm. I’d be happy with a rip-off of mages’ combustion adjusted with the elements associated with each spec.
Lightning for Enhancement, Lava for Elemental, and Water for Restoration.
Personally since DF currently has revamped all the Elemental models I think it’s time Ascendence actually turns us into a Elemental for its duration. Wind Ele for Enhance, Fire for Ele and Water or Ice for Resto.
This is a good time for them to add more glyphs to inscription! X glyph of ascendance. They can add multiple models

it’s an ugly placeholder model that only got their twilight cultist assets photoshopped out.
Thematically it has always been half-arsed and poorly executed.
People have been complaining about the model since Cataclysm alpha in 2012 like myself.
Only in MoP an expansions later we got Glyph of Ascendance to become all elemental-y but they quickly removed it in WoD when they changed Ascendance to become a talent.
Now that all abilities are talents they have zero excuse to leave Ascendance left out in the dust. Scripting wise there is absolutely no excuse.

The spell Ascendance was added in MoP though.
The model had existed since Cata for some Twilight’s Hammer npcs.
Glyph of Ascendance was added in 6.2 and lasted for 13months before being removed in Legion.
It literally does what it says on the tin, you turn into an Elemental Ascendant.
I just want Dathea’s wind elemental model for my ascendance, is that too much to ask?
Dathea’s model is what all the forms should look like, just swap to fire for ele and water for resto
ok my memory was hazy, but that doesn’t change the fact that Glyph of Ascendance was made to prevent this kind of BS.
It made absolutely no sense turning into the definitive villain NPC model from the previous expansion.
All we did was kill ascendants in Cata, and now we have to turn into them? No I do not accept that this is the best we can get from Blizzard.
They took away our glyph, they can easily bring it back.
I too want the Dathea style ascendance. She is not the only shaman in DF that wears a elemental like a combat suit for a fight. We see a few other npcs do this too. The Two Gorloc kings in the Waking Shore come to mind. Lets get this awesome effect in the players hands so we can also be cool.

It’s really a terrible model and doesn’t represent shamans well thematically at all to me
