The 11.0.5 ascendance forms are better than the weird hair ones, but i have no idea why we just can’t play the race we made our character. Just add some particle effects or something instead of giving me some random version of human model 12.5% of the time. If that’s too hard just bring back the glyph of Ascendance from legion.
I didn’t like that either, but it is a billion times better than turning into the forms that exist now.
Blizzard doesn’t listen to the player base on this one.
They stuck with the twilight cultist theme… even though we aren’t twilight cultists.

Referring to the forums as a whole is a little reductive though. Where else would someone complain about something in World of Warcraft that they want changed?
This complaint isn’t new. People wanted the ascension form glyph back as soon as it was removed. I just decided to make a forum post because they were so quick to address the complaints in September about the weird super saiyan wraiths. It’s not my fault that their solution to people not liking the ascendance form was to offer a new ascendance form rather than bring back the glyph that already existed in some capacity and has several threads requesting it to come back.
Shamans ask for new forms for 16 years because we aren’t twilight cultists.

I would like to know why they removed that glyph (and several others). I just didn’t like it very much because it gave a transparent appearance, exactly like monk windwalk but without changes in the "transmog). I wish it had an effect like the primalists from dragonflight like Kurog Grimtotem.

They did listen to the playerbase, when some said they didn’t like the new model they made, they went and made another new one with the helmet to cover the hair, and then they made it so you can also use the old version instead of either of the new versions. So now we have 3 ascendance forms instead of 1. I’m sorry but this should be pleasing just about everyone lol.
Its not giving a random version of a human model either, the old version is using the ascendance forms from cataclysm, the ones that were present in the first few raids and throughout the expac. The new ones use the same model but don’t have the twilight cultist theme, the crazy hair one looks like an ascendant model of lady waycrest and the helmet one just looks regular to me, no crazy theme which I like. I like all 3 of them, the new ones are great though and definitely do not have the same theme as the original.
Theres a reason why they look like twilight ascendants, you can google search the lore.
