Not discounting the fact that shamans sadly suck now probably due in part because you simply seem to not care about this poor class; IF you’re going to force Ascendance form on some of the only talents that even remotely come close to being meta, can you at least provide some glyphs to change the way it looks into more unisex or amorphous blob looking elemental creature than an elemental MAN. Like aside from the fact it’s clearly dwayne the rock johnson wearing a really bad “storm guy” costume, it just looks plain bad.
You could simply give us a glyph that gives us a see through elemental aura, similar to moonkin glyph. And, yeah, ascendance only lasts seconds at a time. But you know what, it may as well be forced in the state shamans are in right now. And it has never NOT been awful looking. Not everyone wants to look like a dude, contrary to popular belief these days. Least you can do is give me an alternate ascendance model, with boobs.

I agree … it’s really not hard for them to just at the very LEAST reinstate the lost MOP glyph that makes ascendence not transform us into a hideous, back-broken monster that looks like a rag doll model falling down a mountain …
Please in the very least give us the option to be see through again.
OMFG ARE YOU SERIOUS?? there was really a moonkin glyph in mop and it was taken out?? WTF blizzard. What the hell is wrong with you. That is so damn unfair. I’d rather look at that nasty old moonkin model than this crap anyway, and druids get to keep their glyph? Dude… Not cool at all.
For real right?? I first entered DF playing Dracthyr on the 15th before release. Soooooo much shaman crap just in the drac intro. so I went into the rest of the expansion thinking that shamans would get nice things because it was like oh look! It’s dracthyr AND shaman themed! Wow! But. Nah. Nope. Nothing cool for shamans. Fun stuff.
Yeah resto not doing so fresh right now. Kinda been left out to dry sun a bit. Too long, actually. And now that I have learned tonight that there actually used to be a glyph to get rid my character of this stupid looking crap shes basically forced to turn into? I kiiiinda don’t want to play her anymore at all until they fix this garbage.
No kidding. Kinda bout to quit shaman altogether. Especially with barely a peep of buffs coming in 10.0.5. what an insult this has been.
@Blizzard Bring back ascendance glyph NOW. OR UNSUB. lol. For real though. Probably never gonna play shaman again after this. Literally ruined one of my favorite classes. Not only by removing something that reduces the damage to my eyes from being forced to see that horrible ascendance model, but also because my spec sucks and you be have made no effort to buff it whatsoever in a little while now here… like what the hell.
Ascendance became a talent, and at the time talents didn’t have glyphs.
The only exception was Glyph of Stars for the Resto talented Moonkin form, which I think had better coding since it’s pretty much a baseline ability.
Now there’s no excuse since everything is technically a talent.
I agree with this wholeheartedly, I added a preview vid from way back so people can have an easy visual example too. This would be very nice to have back!
and resto straight up makes toon model look like a whimsical water fairy elemental. this is gonna make me cry. I hate blizzard for doing crap like this. I really do.
Please bring this back… can’t stand how ascendance looks rn. Just so atrocious to behold. And just downright wrong. Quit forcing my fair princess shaman to turn into some large ripped ugly elemental skull MAN FFS. Just downright anti-female is what this is, on top of it looking stupid for even guys.
How are your numbers without ascendance?? I wanna play my shaman without it but, always feels like it needs ascendance to even sometimes boost heal numbers.
Was trying to bump them all but someone reported me and got my post removed. Pretty lame imo.
They said I was trolling but I was dead serious and trying to bring attention back to this issue.
