Just a mature gamer chick here! I accept others as they are, in whatever way that is. I have no right to judge another or their choices because I have no idea what its like to be in their shoes, think their thoughts, or make their choices. My job as a caring person is to understand and accept others as they are. The only thing I ask for myself is the same thing I give to all others around me. Thats a willingness and genuine desire to understand and accept them. If they give this back to me then I’ll be their cheerleader and friend for as long as possible. I said it a long time ago, but if people honestly think adding a trans character/trans features to a game is bad, but don’t blink an eye when Blizzard Mary Sues a former villain into oblivion (Illidan), then the pandering is not the problem. The problem is that it’s not directed at them.
These types of people have had free reign over the industry for decades, and they can’t handle that there are others who want equal representation now, and are actively speaking up about it.

I pay for the subscriptions. I pay for the expansions. My opinion is equally valid as yours, if not more simply because it doesn’t involve suppressing a whole community of others.

Are you going to pretend the Holy Week Uprising didn’t exist? Between April and May of 1968 there were riots in practically every major American city. More than 20,000 people were arrested; more than 3,000 people were injured; and around 20 people lost their lives.
And then you’ve got the long, hot summer; the Greensboro Uprising; the five years of ghetto riots.
The Civil Rights movement never had a unified message. The notion that people were all rallied around a singular cause in nonsensical. It was a movement which encompassed everyone from reformists to Black separatists.
A lot of people don’t realize this, but King was actually quite unpopular both within and outside of the movement; his message of nonviolent resistance, while it has today been sanitized, left him caught in the middle between radical and moderate factions.

I know the forums hate asmongold but this reminds me of his stream the other day, people were being racist because of the black alliance characters on exiles reach and he goes

I watch his personal YouTube channel, outside of the persona he puts up for twitch he is actually incredibly inclusive/kind hearted. He was even calling people out during metoo etc and saying they needed to be held responsible. Tbh he’s more of an ally than a lot of other people on the platform.
He’s just a derp. A good, wholesome derp that honesty annoys me half the time, but a good derp nonetheless.
