I must’ve missed the memo where you were somehow given the ability to speak on behalf of the entire playerbase of said faction. As also a member of the Horde on different toons than this one, I want to say I don’t care if “we” get them.
I’m pretty sure too I speak for the whole alliance when I say though you can have Worgen. We didn’t want them to begin with. Bunch of lousy traitors who hid and let their fellow mankind to face things on their own instead of helping…to then needing to BE saved and being nothing but refugees and freeloaders ever since.
Plus their models and animations suck. Male dual wielders are barely passable at best but all the rest just totally blow.

As a member of the Horde for almost 20 years now… Earthen were a bad choice and OP is right, we don’t want them.
Dark Iron Dwarves would be acceptable.

I still like how at the Blizzcon deep dive they said “Yes that means Horde Dwarves” as an applause line but was met with almost dead silence.

Dark Irons should have been Horde, no question. Alliance could have gotten Grimtotem or something in return.
But if that’s not gonna happen, Earthen are fine, so we get a Stoneform equivalent and I can go back to being Horde, like I was for 18 years.
Or they can nerf the hell out of Stoneform. Either works.

Dark Iron wouldn’t make sense without a dissolution of the Horde/Alliance truce, which they won’t do because they keep making more cross faction content. There would also need to be a revolt in Ironforge (which could be interesting) but in lore these events are put down quickly by Stormwind.

Dark Irons never should have made peace with the Alliance in the first place. This all goes back to their world-ruining (as opposed to world-building) in Cata.

You aren’t getting Dark Iron Dwarves, they are one of the historical factions of the Dwarven race and there is zero logic in suggesting that these Dwarves would want to join the Horde for any reason.
You can have Earthen, be satisfied with that.

Allied Races were the perfect opportunity to bring some diversity into the factions, but no, instead, they introduce more clones of races that the factions already have. Giving the Alliance a third dwarf clone is just embarrassing, and giving the Horde Earthen… sorry, but it’s just a discount version of Dark Irons. No wonder this announcement was met with predominantly awkward silence during Blizzcon.

Yea dwarves are cool. The gryphon rider dwarves are in their own faction of dwarves. But I forgot what they are called. But they hate orcs tremendously, they also hate regular dwarves, and dislike most humans as well. They are much bigger than the other dwarves.
Dark Ranger should have been a class…even a hero class, not a skin. Taunka should be in the game, not High Mountain.
Hogger has so many Alliance kills that if he were a Horde player, he would have High Warlord title. High Warlord Hogger.
Everything changed big time when a bunch of the original dev team left right after Wrath.

Dwarves cause they’re an Alliance race doesn’t matter if they’re on fire or made out of Stone a Dwarf is a Dwarf the Fem Dracthyr visage is bad enough.

I’m fine with Earthen. And Dark Iron Dwarves have been alliance aligned since Cataclysm.

i don’t mind but im sick of these races with just add-ons to it. we have 3 dwarves that all can just be… customizations options…
give us real races we need murlocs!
