As a Druid I want to

… do skyride races using my Flight Form.

Can the developers please let me?

It’s an annoying extra step, but you can still just switch into Flight Form as soon as they put you in the race.

(if you were in Flight Form before clicking, they put you in humanoid form, but you can still switch back)

If you start the course, it’ll put you in a mount with Dynamic flying active, dismount off the dragon and shift into bird.

I always race in flight form! I actually find it helpful, as larger mounts may collide with terrain obstacles.
Indeed, if it mounts you on a Dragonflight mount, all you’ve gotta do is (dismount and) shapeshift. Voila

Yeah, I tried using a regular mount once and I was like AAA I CAN’T SEE ANYTHING

I almost disliked Dragonflight for this fact alone.
This is personal (maybe not), but I just never REALLY liked mounts, if that makes any sense… I could NEVER decide which one I wanna use, anyway… No matter how many I collect or achieve…

I would be Worgen for that purpose, if not for their bugged animations and skeletal model clipping and rigging issues.

That’s why I always used that skinny green dragon last expansion for races. It had a skinnier profile and less obtrusive wings. I’m glad I can switch to flight form now.
