First, many thanks to the dev team for the continued support to make the game accessible. I have one ask that, I think, would be low-hanging fruit and improve many people’s experience. I would love to see the hunter’s spell ‘Fetch’ generalized for all classes who have a companion out.
I, personally, have an anoxic brain injury, which affects every part of my brain. I rely heavily on scripts for targeting because my fine motor and reflexes are terrible now… Sometimes I cannot find where the loot is, because my visual processing is also messed up. Thee ‘Fetch’ spell makes the game so much more playable for me.

I would like an option that works like that Torghast looting where the loot just comes to your bags instead of needing to loot mobs. An additional option/toggle to loot the gold equivalent of trash items would also be awesome.

The loot a rang used to do something like this but bots abused it. It was a toy that would do like you described.

Sorry to say you can blame all those bots using loot a rang for blizzard removing it…instead of fast banning bots they just take away a helpful item for that the disabled can use…their old line of we have to watch and investigate is old line of garbage now, blizzard knows how they do it…

The loot-a-rang still exists, I don’t understand why people are saying that it got removed.
It just requires you to have Cata Engineering at 70 to use. Costs about 5000g in materials if you don’t want to farm for it yourself. I use this on most of my ranged characters because my hunter spoiled me.
I just got it a week ago on my new mage and will be getting it on this warlock too.

Too bad I used to have one that everyone could use no matter what professions they were.
Now they changed it to Legion only, which is what everyone is referring to. I used to use it all the time but since I’m not an engineer, I can no longer in current content.

I can see why they removed that, I don’t mind sacrificing one profession to use the loot- a-rang, or even the ‘cost’ of getting cata engineering to 70. It’s a good enough repellant to keep it too much effort from botters, it seems?
Unfortunately that’s the case. I’m not going to change the professions I’ve had since BC for it, but I do miss it.

I know they do make some noise sometimes about adding small accessibility additions to WoW, but I wish they put more effort into accessibility QoL additions or at least more testing before adding new things. Some of the company’s other teams do a much better job.
That said, my friend—100% blind—uses an add-on called Sku to play WoW WotLK Classic. I’m not sure how it handles looting, since I’ve only seen the add-on in use in person once when I helped him set it up, but somehow it helps guide him to corpses and loot (via the interact key).
One thing that could be useful for the OP would be to go in and bind “Target Last Target” which doesn’t normally have a default keybind. That will target corpses as well, though as it’s name suggests, it will only target the last target. So, if you’ve killed multiple enemies between looting, it’ll only target the last one you had targeted’s corpse. You can also use this in a macro with /targetlasttarget. If you use “Target Last Target” and also have “Interact with Target” bound (both are under Targeting in keybinds), you can just hit one key to select the last target and then another key to interact with the target without having to click anything with the mouse pointer. I have a mild essential tremor and loot doing it this way most of the time (it works fairly well with a controller as well). I don’t believe you can macro target interaction, at least not at this point, so it has to be a separate keybind.

Bots can’t be stopped. It’s not as simple as just banning them and they’re gone. They’re mostly using compromised accounts anyway.
There are a couple of fetch toys. Lootarang for engineers. I thi k one of them is limited to an expansion.
You can do this with loot-a-rang, but it requires Cataclysm engineering.
