THE GEARSCORE SYSTEM EXISTED BEFORE DUNGEON FINDER, YOU TOOL.

The website kicked off - wow-heroes was the main site (before the addons) was being used to assess peoples gear AND progress in raids. THIS WAS WAY BEFORE ICC you tool.

While “classic” is relatively new so to speak, it’s based off a game thats almost 20 years old. Blaming a well liked and used tool is pure stupidity just like your lies in your posts. The rest of your post is just pure smack.

What spawned after wasn’t necessity. Core developers LEFT blizzard, and others taking over were adding things players as a whole didn’t want. It wasn’t one thing led to another. When people use the tool, they’re forced to keep it in there, no matter how crappy it is (LFR). And you can’t get that out of your brain.

Dungeon finder was good. Changes from Cata then on, had nothing to do with dungeon finder, period.

Parse that, you lousy gamer!

People are just sitting in cities waiting for summons and not talking anyway without RDF, have encountered many who didn’t even have any flight paths and were just waiting for their summon.
RDF didn’t ruin anything, gaming culture has changed writ large in the literal decade since Wrath came out. RDF or no RDF, that isn’t going to change.

I would consider myself Anti-RDF.

Although the claims of how negative the immediate impact was is a bit incorrect. I don’t want it, at least not in early phases.

For frame of reference, engagement continued to grow for quarters following RDF and declined most many years after. I do believe it’s unhealthy for the game but I do not believe it’s killing the game.

Engagement grew for over a year post RDF. The initial decline being Kung Fu panda expansion and a steep decline in WoD… for obvious reasons.

RDF is a RETAIL Wrath feature, CLASSIC Wrath is a DIFFERENT game. It will NOT have RDF.

I think the introduction of Heroic and LFR raiding killed the social aspect far more than LFD.

People got less excited because they weren’t getting BiS gear anymore. It created apathy and people started to quit around the time heroic raiding was introduced.

Heroic raiding is a terrible RPG element. If they really want to make wrath great, remove Heroic raiding and give normal raiding the Bis gear. Maybe bump the difficulty a tad on the last 4 bosses of ICC normal. Raiding is better when every guild is inside the same instance and everyone is trying to push to the next boss.

RDF is what led to LFR raiding in the first place, they actually had that LFR idea even back when RDF first came out but only released it in Cata. Both systems were originally meant to roll out together.

How you think things work is irrelevant to Reality, he said what he said and anyone that supports him also supports all his views.
