LOL. No, Blizz would gain many. I played on Warmane (private server for Wrath) for years. Almost my entire guild was planning on coming back when they heard about Wrath classic. It’s just me and one other person that decided to come back after Blizz announced no RDF.

Warmane runs on a different Code than Blizzard servers, our Code doesn’t have RDF and you need to get used to that.

You do Warmane is a public website right? They themselves say they are running a different Code Base than Blizzard realms.
What you all don’t realize is that the effect on socialization was your own undoing. With name changing, transfering servers, faction changes, and CRZ the RDF feature just helped further destroy any real social consequence on your own server.
The game was a bit more fun when you had to go to the dungeon in the world and it was new and interesting. But later on when you knew all that and just wanted a group the community came up with its own tools to help. If anything random dungeon finder helped far more players see more content in the game then they had been able to previously regardless of who they knew or how good they were. That isn’t a bad thing at all.
To make matters worse a lot of you dogpiled into a few servers with likely tens of thousands or perhaps even hundreds of thousands in them. This further alienates any real social consequence as well cause the community is just so large you just blend into the background.

RDF is NOT coded into the game, it was NEVER in the plans. And this is NOT WoD, our Devs actually CARE about us.
This makes no sense, all the content was ALREADY easily accessible.

It’s a tool created by Retail players to turn the game into something like Call of Duty where it’s just one big lobby with zero social interaction.
It got removed because a majority of the Community doesn’t want it.
