MMOs are NOT designed for one off random interactions, the entire purpose is building meaningful relationships and finding people through activities.
Simply pressing a button and meeting a 100 randos a day and have like warm conversations isn’t actual social interaction.
Maybe that’s the root of it all, you don’t know how to properly socialize and Classic forces you to and you can’t handle it.
Id say there are a LOT more people on the side of not wanting RDF in classic wrath than there are those who do.
People are just posting on their alt characters and making more posts to make it seem like there are a lot of people who want it, when in fact, there are very few.
RDF. DESTROYS. COMMUNITY. PERIOD.
We don’t want it in the game, period. Stop asking for it.

Even though I may agree, sounds like OP is just fishing for attention.
I tend to socialize just fine thank you. Maybe it’s you and your community that feel the need to conrtol how other people play to validate your own failings.
Lol this is literally the opposite going on, YOU people want to control how WE play.
WE enjoy picking and choosing people from LFG to play with, I personally don’t pick people whose class clashes with my class so I can take certain loot pieces and I even hard reserve items and will do the same for friends of mine that I tank for.
RDF prevents us being able to play with who we want, but you just want it because it means we’re forced to play with you no matter what.
Especially with Heroic+ coming up, I do NOT want some random teammate I would like to find people who will either give me gold for runs or people who fit my meta comp.

I agree that RDF is likely not the best choice for Wrath Classic.
That being said, OP is doing a lot of projecting and attention seeking.
Not everyone that doesn’t want RDF is a degen like OP.
A lot of us understand that not being able to be on a mega-server makes it difficult to find groups in a timely manner. It’s an unfortunate reality of server health being poorly managed.
LFG tools seems a bit lack luster and I use chat if I don’t already run with my guild. Perhaps there will be a solution in the future, I just don’t quite support RDF as the solution. Devs did state that they are working with the engineer to improve the current tool.
I would rather them do this than bring back RDF.
MONEY led to the decisions of tokens, amongst other things. The same reason you’re getting boosts, and LOCKED TRANSFER ACCESS to servers.
Blizzard made 0 dollars by creating a random dungeon finder. Blizzard opened the door for cross server communication between players outside of the forums. Opened the door for alternates and better leveling.

Wrong again, they did this purely to create a playerbase of subservient lazy players who are more open to spending their cash to get ahead and spam future LFR runs which they had planned the SAME TIME as RDF but only released it later.
They had a plan the whole time and just like hook line and sinker you and the other pro-RDF trolls fall for it.
Classic will NOT suffer the same fate.
RDF what is your solution to the Horde on Benediction who have this many people online?
They don’t even have five players in the level ranges of 13-18 to form an RFC group.

Well, when ICC rolled out in 2009, so did the dungeon finder tool. Technically they haven’t done anything different, as dungeon finder wasn’t available until ICC released, so if they did the same thing, it would then follow the original path. Classic is supposed to be nearly identical to the original. However, they keep adding their own flavor to crap. From no initial RDF (but something coming down the pipe), to HEROIC + which did not exist in original wrath.

But isn’t that actually not socializing with the broader community? Instead you create your own sound bubble of what you consider “good” players? Also I find the part where you expect to be paid for runs highly distasteful and against socialization. Selling your self out to the highest bidder as opposed to working with the community at large. Again what you are talking about kinda goes against those pillars that you profess to hold in esteem…
