As a Community, we do not want RDF

Boy ain’t that the truth… There is no real community

They did, you are correct.
No one chats in a group of strangers in WOW regardless of how they met (RDF, no RDF).
Those who chat in group are the ones who have 2 or 3 or 4 from the same guild in the group or all guild run. You’re fooling yourself if you think otherwise.

Since when has the majority of blizzard players especially in the classic version ever been silent on their opinions LMAO! You must be thinking of the super casuals in retail that pet battle and don’t care much about what small things are implented or not…

Classic players are very vocal and every ANTI RDF thread being flagged into the dirt, and the majority of PRO RDF players receiving 10x the likes than ANTI RDF players clearly shows you don’t speak for any majority. You speak for yourself and the very small minority.

Yes we do.

Retail is designed for your type, the AFK and alt-tab payers.

Classic is for the more hardcore and old school MMO fan, you can keep that away from us thank you.

And you have no citation for that. Because it doesn’t exist and you made it up.

Designing WoW for people that don’t want to play your game is peak failed retail game design. If you don’t want to play the game just don’t play it at all.

Silent majority? LOL…Now I understand your political stance and why you feel like your opinion and views would be more important. Every player is free to come onto the forums and voice their opinions or even back you up in this thread. Yet, there aren’t as many people supporting your post since its the silent minority. You DON’T have to use RDF and there’s nothing in the game that will force you to.

Have fun trying to convince everyone that we all think and feel the way that you do.

No we don’t.

No I’m asking why the heck are they excluding a feature they themselves implemented in the first place?

I’m not asking for 2022 Blizzard’s design of the game. If I wanted that, I’d be playing Shadowlands (which I do). I want 2009 Blizzard’s design of the game. That included RDF.

Shadowlands makes vastly more money than any other versions of the game. So the game is functioning as it’s supposed to, which is to bring in a boat load of money.

I don’t care about forum likes.

We the majority got what we wanted which is RDF removed, it won’t come back either as long as we can help it.

Stop trying to ruin Classic.

There is an obviously split in the community though. The forums are full of people advocating for RDF to be added and people backing Blizzard’s decision to remove it from the game.

Agreed 100%

What realm does have that? I loved and miss the community feel from 2008 but the player base and people’s lives have changed so much. In 2008 you didn’t have LFG chat spamming mage boost advertisements, or paid level 70 boosts. You had many, many region-specific realms instead of mashing them all together and none of them were locked preventing you from joining your friends. And there was inarguably a different feel the game had back then when it was live.

Classic is a different experience, and that’s okay, but then if things are going to lean towards paid boosts (which, judging by the amount of gliders I see, a lot of people are buying) and ease of access then give us RDF and stop pretending that the community needs to be preserved when its dead and gone.

You stated RDF made people LAZY. TBC and Classic didn’t have RDF and they were still LAZY. Your statement is flawed.

RDF won’t either encourage or discourage it.

Did you even play OG WotLK? I did, and I clearly remember using RDF for an entire year.

OG WoTLK died because of RDF, I played back then and it was one of the most hated features which caused many to unsubscribe.

eat your nachos mommy got you from 7-11 get a life dude you have no GF no life you go with the patch are you black ? you sound like it the way you say the community lol you mean the liberals in cali crying lol

“Still ignoring my point… You say that RDF was the death of social interaction and yet I have made friends in Legion and BFA? which had RDF in those expansions?”

I made LOTS of friend back when RDF released at the end of wrath. I was able to keep up with gearing and playing with my new friends. It made the game 1000x more enjoyable for me and so many others. I was so happy that I didn’t have to stare at LFG channel or LFG bulletin board all day for HOURS trying to find enough people to do my quests and dungeons I needed…until my eyes went numb! It’s 100% a QoL feature that IMO a majority wants. I don’t want to waste my time sitting at the stone looking for players to dungeon with. If the Dev doesn’t change his mind, I’m gone.

You didn’t win sht lol they kept the game as it originally was for a reason and they have been doing so. They don’t and didn’t care about all the bi** fits you threw on the forums. It was decided the day they decided to release WOTLK classic.

On the other hand, you won’t find me complaining and moaning on the forums about RDF. Regardless if its in the game or not.

The majority are downvoting you, the majority are disagreeing with your opinions, yet you think you are somehow speaking for some majority… Ignorance is bliss I suppose.

and RDF will be in WOTLK, just you wait and see… They will do what they did in original release, drop RDF when sub counts go down since no one wants to level alts without RDF and thats the simple truth. When that happens though, good news is you can still go back and play classic vanilla without RDF. Shoot it’s there right now! I wonder why the servers are so dead though…
