Arugal (OCE) is going to be a disaster at launch

I feel they’re recreating the long server queues for that truly authentic classic launch experience. These 8 + hour queue times are not so dissimilar from how I remember Blackrock in vanilla

All of my friends rolled on Arugal on tuesday morning after taking time off work, i couldn’t take time off work and now I’m isolated from all of my friends “didn’t want to disrupt the community”… no Blizzard you didn’t disrupt it… you absolutely destroyed it.

I’m in the reverse situation: I took the day off on Tuesday and managed to get in. None of my friends could and now they’re all on a different server. I’ve got to re-roll (so well 15 levels of progress…) so that we can play together.

Arugal is the only PvP Oceanic server available and is already listed as high population. It is inevitable that it will be full by launch as there are a large number of players that will not pay for a sub just to reserve a name. As there is only one server option for Oceanic PvP players and it will be full by launch, it is likely to have the highest queues of any server because there is no alternative for players to move to when they are met by extended queues
