This launch has scattered all of my friends throughout the different pvp servers in OCE. Some got in early when there was only one server and started leveling and some got sick of waiting and started leveling on the newer servers once they were released so now my guild is stuck on multiple servers and people are talking about just not playing at all now instead of sitting in a huge queue only to have to level all over again.
Free server transfers will allow guilds in our situation to move off the main pvp server and will drop queue times for the people who have their entire guild there.
Help us out here Blizz. I don’t think anyone could have known there would be this many people coming back to play in OCE but now that they are here help us out so we can get to actually playing the game.
Anyone else have any ideas on how to fix this situation we’re having in OCE?

Yeah if any realm needs transfers its Arugal, given it was the only choice for all OCE players and blizzard not releasing new realms until after launch.
Pretty much impossible to get guild/friends to reroll on the other realms at this point since a lot of people have already leveled over 20.

The game launched a day ago. Free transfers are already available at the character creation screen.

Me and a mate reserved on Arugal, others weren’t able to. Now the queues are monstrous WELL before peak, people are scattering. Trying to organise a coordinated move to Felstriker but then who knows what that’s going to be like in the future.

Same here! Only one PVP server was a joke!! We pay early to reserve our name and then sit in queue for 5+ hours, finally get in play for an hour or two then server crashes and boots you off to spend another 5 hours sitting in queue. Now half the guild is split over the two new PVP servers and the other half is in queue for Arugal!

Correct this could of been averted had we received more than one PvP server i’m unsure how Blizzard came to that conclusion but anyway i have been in queue for 5.5 hours now i finally got to 250 in que and for the last 2 hours i have only made it to 221.

Arugal (Oceanic) def got hurt the most by this.
I was lucky enough to login before the que, levelled to like 19 before real life landed me in a 8k que tonight.
I won’t be able to play the game tonight, and it’s no fault of my own. All I can do is re roll on another realm but is that fair?

Arugal queue is a disaster but I really don’t want to lose my progress, I would change server so fast if I could just transfer

Pretty sure half of arugal would transfer the moment transfers were opened.
It was a really terrible decision to open oceanic with a single pvp server. It has caused massive group splintering that won’t be fixed for weeks. Anyone who works functionally can’t play on the server without waiting for hours to log in on getting home.

He’s being a troll and implying you should reroll. Just ignore him

the issue is i need to get to the front of the queue to delete my character then queue on another server and create it there hoping my name didnt get stolen in the progress

Agree. Everything is a mess on OCE please give us transfers and make this right.

I’ve got 15 mates which all agree on this, sitting in queue of 9000 because you only gave Oceania one PvP server to start now its a matter of whether or not you wanna play with your friends and wait 6-8 hours to get on or play by yourself immediately… You need to address this issue, allow character transfers.

While that is what I mean, I am not trolling. We spend thousands of hours on these characters at the level cap alone. The time already invested in a character is like one thousandth of one percent of what you are going to spend on them.
And?
We can spend upwards of 12 hours reprogressing what we have already done, or Blizzard can transfer the characters and we can not spend 12 hours redoing what we have done.
The fact that it is a small percentage of the total time spent on the character in the totality of gameplay is not relevant; it’s still a load of wasted time.
Not only that, even if you personally would make that sacrifice, which I would, it’s practically impossible to convince a full half (or 2/3rds in some cases) of your guild to do the same. The only way to fix the issue of guild-spread splits across servers, which was created by Blizzard’s lack of foresight in creating more servers BEFORE release, is to allow people to transfer back and forth.
There are people who got on at the start of the first day, who have leveled for upwards of 30 hours now, who simply will not reroll to other servers. There are people in the same guilds who simply cannot play on that server. These guilds are unfixably split until queues disappear.

Forgive my lack of sympathy, but I played in beta. Every second of those hours weeks and months were undone.
