Artisan's Consortium work orders

I have a quest to fulfill 5 tailoring work orders.

There are basically no public work orders I can do. I get it, its new and people are likely not using it yet.

BUT… the quest text says … If you’re looking for work, the Artisan’s Consortium always has orders to fill. You can take a look at our public orders, or…

Ok, so where are the Artisan’s Consortium works orders that are “always” available? Are these NPC work orders? If so, how do I look and fill those?

Unfortunately not, no NPC work orders. Basically keep refreshing. As more people get to 70 you’ll start to see more requests.

I just had a guildie put in a request for 5 things I could make within the guild option, made it for them, and finished the quest.

An alt can do that too easy way to finish it

Use personal option put crafter name

The work order system was destroyed by sparks of ingenuity time gating BS that WoW always does. Zero demand for work orders at this point at least from weapons and armor.

There’s also the problem that most of the stuff people want is either renown gated at high points (like 19+) is PVP only locked, or is just a ‘random drop’ causing those things to be either: painful to get, or, making it so gold barons dictate how many tokens you need just to get a single recipee

yeah the gating by sparks means there will never be enough work orders for all the crafters to fulfill. I did the math here There will never be enough work orders (with Math) and it is very disheartening

Even beyond that, alot of things that should have orders, don’t. The Toys and such that can be crafted don’t seem to be able to be Work Ordered, nor do refinements, so some one cant put out an order for the mats needed to order the thing they want, etc.

It’s stupid but just jump on an alt send a personal orders to your main for something cheap and win

It is sad and stupid but your right… that is exactly what I am going to do. Turn an alt in to an NPC so I can fill orders. Awesome.

ya it definately seems ppl are way more inclined to use a guild wo or a personal(friend) wo. Definitely disappointing as i cant progress engineer without it

THIS!!! They destroy everything they touch. BLIZZ = NO FUN!!!

I wish they would put some leveling ai “orders for developing crafters” that don’t make any item but still allow you to progress

If they have an alt with access to Valdrakken. Unless there is way to put in work orders someplace else that I haven’t discovered yet.

Sending to an alt is the only solution for now…it’s dumb, but it’s the only way.

For tailor…have alt sent for the cheapest bolts…For scribe…do cheap pro gear, For BS, shovels, then sell on the ah…etc etc

You can also have an alt request a personal order and it counts. I have had an alt make a couple of orders for bolts for my engineer.

You can also do the same for skill ups as well.
