Artisan Orders and a Thought on the Economy of WoW

Can you please make it so that the ARTISAN can supply the Artisan’s Acuity for a price? Say maybe 100G per 1 acuity IF the person placing the order does not have enough AA to fully max out to place the order? So for an order that requires 300 acuity, the Artisan would make a profit of AT MAX (if the person placing the order had NO ACUITY) a $30,000 gold bump. BUT if the person placing the order had, say 250 Art Acuity AA and then the Artisan supplied the remaining 50, they would only see a $5000 gold bump.

This would:

  1. Help those of us who have a LOT of AA saved for no good reason get rid of it.
  2. Help those who need items but have not enough AA be able to place orders.
  3. Help everyone in the end b/c it’s a capitalist environment where those who have can help those who have not.

Many people have a lot of AA they have not used. Many people have a LOT of gold they aren’t using. This might help to balance out the economy a bit.

Just a thought!!!

You can trade AA for materials so if you have a pile of unused AA you can spend it. I have thousands on my alts but that’s because I am too lazy to spend it not because there isn’t something to spend it on. (Same with wax)

Only crafters are required to spend AA for profession equipment. Crafters earn AA over time. It is an intentional time gate for crafters. Profession tools have this restriction because people were getting around the time gate by using AA from alts or other crafters. I personally didn’t care but people complained.

For non-crafters, you can use someone else’s acuity for recrafts. You can use someone else’s acuity for profession bags. You can use someone else’s acuity for the weaverline (fishing). If they don’t have the acuity, they absolutely can buy it from the crafter in the same sense that you can buy my concentration. You negotiate for it and we agree on a price.

I had a ton of acuity until I discovered there was a vendor with more profession knowledge books to purchase.
