Your order hall vendor will sell some higher ilevel weapons to hold you over until you get some relics in your weapons.

Right now, I have a Draenor blue that is HIGHER than my Legion artifact.
Yeah I really wish they gave you a choice of which Acherus you could port to.
The plaguelands one was so convenient for getting around.

Idk, I have mixed emotions about it. On one hand I hate the changes to heirlooms but itâs also probably fun to equip upgrades while your questing.
Is an enchanted heirloom better than a higher ilvl quest reward? I need to get on my alt and start questing to see all this myself I guess lol
So you guys are upset that your legion weapon isnât as powerful as what? A normal NYA weapon? People are already saying they can get them to almost 80, normal NYA is 100, Iâm failing to see the problem here.
If youâre leveling 10-50 through legion, youâll get relics as you level keeping your weapon up. Right now mine are sitting at around ilvl 70 with heroic raid relics in it. The ones Iâve got with just questing greens is around 54, which is on par with where it should be.
The issue I felt was coming to Legion timewalking campaign as a partially leveled character. So I started it at L29, and going through all that epic questing to get my amazing artifact weapon that proves me a worthy leader of my order hall, and the weapon is ilvl 20, half the power of what I have already, was just really unsatisfying.
Also, notably, the whole broken shore scenario including its quests gave little to no XP. I started it mid L29 and ended mid L29. So leveling speed was just suspended until I got to Dalaran. Which made picking this campaign feel like a punishment.
As I play through, maybe my quest relics will catch the weapon up, but it feels wrong playing Legion without it until then.
