What a bad take.
There’s already enough rewards locked behind things that people only do just to get the thing, rather than for enjoyment. If nobody wants to do RBGs then the root problems need fixed instead of shoving in more rewards that nobody’s going to enjoy working towards.

I actually agree. I just need to get off my A$$ and starting PVP’ing again.
or make it account wide at the least, 10 RBG wins on one character unlocks the appearnce for others. some other artifact apperances work this way
This is the one upside to not having them available anymore. Not having to worry about something I would have zero chance of unlocking. I’m still sort of ticked off about the 3rd Tier crafting recipes in Legion that were locked behind a RBG win. It is the single most niche play-style in the game. It shouldn’t be tied to anything but prestige mounts and armor.
As a PVE player, I didn’t know I could do a few quests and get some conquest points and get champion gear. Now I’m dipping my toe into blitz and epic bg’s for the weekly conquest. Of course, I’m not really helping my team very much since I die so quickly. Sorry about that.
The Legion mage tower appearances are out of the picture, permanently unavailable. No one else will get them. Who exactly is being incentivized to start doing RBG’s at this point? The people who have left the game? Those who gave up and decided not to bother getting that fourth tint?
During Legion, PvP carries were plentiful and cheap. I guess the intent was for the people who never did PvP to pay for carries at the time.
I doubt they will do that Jardz, seeing that the Balance of Power isn’t even shared. Lets see if our guild has anyone that needs it as well? Doubtful, but worth a shot.

Change to Random Battlegrounds, not rated anything.
The difficulty required for that recolor is vastly higher than the difficulty for the others in comparison. Even when it was current. How did heroic KJ equal 10 RBG wins? Like ???
Meanwhile, random bgs would allow people like me, whose toon they completed the tower on, is still ~level 50, be able to work on it without being forced to level and gear that toon against our will.
Killing Kil’jaeden on heroic difficulty has gotten WAY easier over the years, while navigating and winning RBGs has gotten much harder.
On my old account I have sparkle kitty that has never unlocked the purple tint. I probably should have bought carries during Legion, but that’s not an option now.
I think even in Legion it wasn’t equal to the other tints.
Sure you can try to make non-PVPers do RBGs or buy boosts.
But Kiljaeden HC was like 100k tops at the end of the Tomb patch. Only getting cheaper in Antorus.
I can guarantee you without prior knowledge that a boost for 10 RBG wins was more than a million gold.
I think the best way to make this more attainable is to either add it to regular BGs, Arenas, Solo Shuffle etc.
It could just be “win 10 PVP battles in Arenas or Battlegrounds”
Anything but RBGs. That content is considered dead even by pvpers and boosting services.
I started Legion with .8 million gold on all my characters across numerous servers. By the end of Legion I had 9 million gold, including 6 million on my main server, without making any effort to farm it. So that probably would have been doable.
This is reasonable.

Nobody wants to do RBGs, yet there’re premades in the queues waiting to stomp any opponents? How can both of these things be true? 
Seems like an either/or thing to me.
Going by one of your earlier posts, it sounds like you made the choice choice to abandon a character you had appearances on, to make a new character of the same class who never got those appearances. Mainly focusing on the same class thing here. That sounds like a you problem to me. You knew what you were setting yourself up for but you’re still blaming Blizz anyway lol
So this thread has already been necro’d but I LOVE this, laughed so hard because It’s all too real.
Now if it were changed to require any PvP instances, that would serve as an incentive to the majority of those who completed the mage tower in Legion and made the decision not to do an unlock requiring rated PvP.
For someone that didn’t abuse WoD Garrisons like most people, or Legion Missions, not very doable. Yeah doable for a casual goldfarmer. Im talking for everyone.

How realistic is it for a normal person to get into a premade without prior pvp experience, especially in rbgs?

Yeah lets make the person with no RBG experience raidlead a party of 10 people with likely also very little RBG experience if any, that’s gonna go well. Oh no. They’ve been stomped by a russian premade. Skill issue I guess
