So I know the Mage Tower appearances are not available, are there any other hidden artifact appearances that are still available?

No problem. You can also still equip the artifact weapon and go to the place in your class hall where you used to select artifact traits and click on the appearances tab to see how to get non-hidden appearances. The mage tower ones have been removed but the others are still there and mousing over will tell you how to get.

I wonder if my Death Knight needs to be equipped with the artifact weapon to get the hidden appearance popping Apocalypse and Army of the Dead. Spent the entire Legion popping those 2 spells together, never got the special ghoul to gain the hidden appearance.
I’m looking at the guide you posted and it shows these cool fists you can get from doing the withered army scenario. But when I’m looking at the appearances window I don’t see it there. Does that mean I can’t get it?
The wowhead link is for the hidden appearances. They don’t show up in the artifact appearance window but the wowhead guide will tell you how to get them.

I unlocked the hidden appearance for my Paladin’s Ashbringer but have no idea how to unlock the other color options? I can’t find this information. The color I want requires 1k player kills with the weapon equipped… The information that I’ve found so far is for the PVP version of the artifact weapon along with its color options being unlocked at ranks 2, 6, 10, etc. Does anyone know how to unlock the color options of the Hidden appearance in BFA?
I know that if we xMog the artifact weapon we also get the effects of the weapon as if it’s actually equipped. I wonder if this would work for the kill count in BFA?
Basically you need to do 30 Legion dungeons, 200 WQs and 1000 pvp kills. Doing BFA WQ’s counts torwards the 200 and so do the kill part. I just unlocked the green monk fists by doing Maw of Souls 30x took like 2 hours was super tedious but once its done its done.
Edit. Also unlocked the green destruction skin on my warlock doing just BFA WQ’s.
