After all this time, why aren’t our artifact items considered heirlooms and put in our heirloom folder to create on alts and use?
Hear me out. I think more people would care to farm for the artifact gear IF they were on the heirloom tab where they can create them and they would scale with their character’s level which would be how the heirlooms currently work. I will note that because they are farmed and that takes more time then getting the gold to buy the regular ones. With that in mind it should be considered that they should be stronger than the normal gold bought heirlooms. We already have examples of this with Garrosh’s heirlooms, how they are stronger but were hard to get. I would imagine these would be between the strength of Garrosh and normal bought heirlooms because they take time and rng and are harder to get than buying the normal ones but obviously the garrosh ones were harder and no longer available to get.
Many of us farmed for hours because some of the BOA artifact gear was really good for raids (im looking at arms warriors who know the struggle of farming the sword). Nowadays, in order to use the artifact items you are really limiting yourself because the cheaply bought heirloom weapons are much better. So essentially, you will not use the BOA Artifact items at all.
I think it is about time to do this for many reasons:
A. the people who farmed them can enjoy them once again.
B. Provide a desire to learn archeology and roam the world other than when mount quest is available.
C. This could open the door for other archeology gear item ideas in the future to add to old content. Like boots could be added to heirlooms for archeology only or something like that. Which could lead to new lore ideas about the items found. Which could create content to bring people in the game more than daily/weekly resets.
