Giving him a redemption arc like illidan, we will see things from his view point or the old gods were corrupting him. He was evil and did plenty of bad, but his corruption was what turned him evil. He was not evil. The light left him bot because he was bad but because he faltered in his belief of it.

I completely agree, especially with his sister assisting all of the newly undead, I think Blizzard will/could work that in really well considering his last words were something around the lines of I only see darkness ahead of me, and the whole Sylvanass is serving death idk there’s a lot of subtle ways they could make it work.
