The young warrior then goes on to uncover plots the other members of his orders downplay, he then becomes obsessed with stopping this plot from happening, which leads him down the road to betraying his order and bringing ruin to his world.
He then puts on an evil helmet in an epic cinematic moment to signify his past self, is truly dead.
We don’t know his disposition on sand, though.

This concept is archetypal, and goes back long before Star Wars ever existed. I still appreciate the observation, though.
