Hello my fellow druids! This thread is going to be a work in progress for me, where I will be posting concept art pieces I am creating to illustrate Dwarf druids, in all their forms. I am doing this with the hope that it generates hype and interest in the race/class combo, and that they might be available at some point. Scroll down to see the art as it is posted.
Here is where I currently am with the project. I am just about to begin painting this linework drawing of a dwarven druid pair - a male (feral/guardian) and a female (resto/balance):

On Wyrmrest Accord I sometimes RP as a half-night elf/half-dwarf druid (weird, I know). I illustrated that recently, and it has a similar feel to the full-dwarf druid vibe I am going for, so I will include that as well:

I plan to edit and add to this post with updates on the art as I make more of it. Eventually I want to have fully illustrated (painted) concepts of Dwarf druids in their humanoid forms, as well as all the other forms they might wear as well (I would love ideas by the way, so feel free to shoot some at me).

Also, here are some of the loose plans I have for future concept art pieces, specifically regarding the dwarf druid forms (input/better ideas would be appreciated):
Bear Form - armored grizzly/polar bear variants, braided and metal-capped beard braids hanging off jaw, viking Ragnar braided mohawk hair down the head and upper back, woad warpaint ‘tattoos’, various geometric dwarven armor pieces on the shoulders, head, feet, feathers adorning various areas, a few beer mugs tied to gear on the bear’s flanks.
Cat Form - Picture a muscled, rangy mountain cat, like a large bobcat. Picture the bulky short-tailed sabertooth cats in Skyrim, then add many of the adornments and bling mentioned in the Bear Form description and you have something similar to what I am imagining.
Boomkin Form - If we are sticking adamantly to the moonkin thing, then we could talk about making it look like a gryphon-moonkin hybrid, with the armor/warpaint/feathers/beard aesthetic that is described in the Bear Form above.
If we are okay with branching out from the moonkin base model, would it be acceptable to make a new model, that is a hybrid bewteen a humanoid dwarf and a gryphon? A humanoid, bipedal gryphon? Same bling and adornements as above.
Travel Form - A badass armored/tattooed/feather-sporting mountain ram, naturally. Take the vibe of the new paladin dwarf ram mounts and turn the knob up a couple of notches. Make me hear Led Zeppelin’s Immigrant Song when I shift into ram mode (also, make allowances for us to retain the ram look when we use that new mountable travel form variant you introduced this xpac)
Swim Form - I’m torn on this one. I feel like, if you could take one of the walruses that hangs out around harbors and spruce it up a bit, that would be cool. The silhouette and rigging of the KT druid swimmer would be a good place to hang your model. Big, exaggerated tusks, and continuing with the tattoo/feather/armor/beard aesthetic described above would probably look good.
Flight Form - A gryphon of course! A unique skin on the standard OG gryphon model would work fine. Continue the same bling aesthetic that the other forms have.
