This wasn’t so apparent until I made a mechagnome. My mount as well as my heritage are gold, which is a personal color option they both look great with. Only problem is, I prefer rust. Normal races have 3 even 4 skins for mounts, how hard would it be to add a silver and rusted Mechagon Mechanostrider?
Then on to heritage. You end up being the gold bot whether you want to or not. It’s by far the coolest armor for a mechagnome but I took it off because it didn’t fit my rusted look.
I wouldn’t even mind if they made getting variations on heritage (or mounts for that matter) their own task, that would add to AR lore which would be a great thing.
It’s probably the wrong time in the development cycle to ask for these things but I’d hope they’d be considered down the line.

Only Maghar orcs are allowed variation. Everyone else can take what they are given according to Blizz

Their armor has a couple variants because it’s 3 different clans making up the group

Well you’d think in that case they could give mecha armor that matches the three metallic configurations, it makes just as much sense. Thicken up the lore a bit so that the three metals mean something.
The LFD heritage armor had another tint to it that was data mined. No clue where that went.
We don’t have any mount options.

Just so you know I feel the exact same way about orcs, so meh I guess. . .
It went to the reuse for future content category at Blizz HQ. Save old content to pull it out an expansion or 2 later and claim it as “new”. like all these boots that were added on island expeditions to complete some of the old raid sets.
