bare minimum same cd of charge as the one that mage have
also should have at list 1 more def option why no1 complain to blizzard they destroyed arms they destroying this class in midnight making it even worse and all war players will just shout up i am probably done with this after season 4 because to play arms is literally waste of time in solo you are more depends on healers who most of them are bad and in general you more depend on other players than you…abysmal class and very annoying to play
Mages don’t have a Charge so you want warriors Charge to be deleted?
Aren’t they both 20s base for Midnight prior to any modifying talents? While also being extremly close CD wise on retail? Not to mention Warriors also have a leap etc, if you’re getting outplayed by mages that’s a skill issue ![]()
lol no they not mage tele is probably without any cd at all and that’s why i think arms should have no cd on charge why do you protect mages? op class of cheaters literally good mage you cant touch him def not a skill issue !!! almost every class can win against war in 1v1 but rets and mages are es crooked class blizzard is crooked company for 10 years they didn’t fix warrior class and they will not Cuse they don’t give a s
You seem to think that PvP is still a thing in World of Warcraft. I’m sorry to disappoint you, but that’s not the case.
You know you can freely check at any time.
It’s currently a 15s CD if on the GCD (Blink) — soon to be 20s, reducible to 18s…
…and is a 25s recharge if oGCD (Shimmer) — soon to be 30s, reducible to 27s.
Mages have two blinks and for every blink used, they have an 8 second window to use a free blink to warp back to their starting point. So they have 4 blinks compared to a warrior’s 2 charges and 1 leap. And if a warrior uses charge to engage, that means they’re already down one. A mage can ice block or even just alter time if for whatever reason they are caught in a big warrior CD window. And if they’re caught again, dragon’s breath to polymorph reset is uncounterable. There is no universe in which a mage can actually lose to a warrior 1v1 world pvp setting. That’s just how it historically has been and will continue to be.
That’s why competitive environments have a team to shore up weaknesses. It’s still going to be uncomfortable against magic teams but there’s a lot more answers in a team environment.
Displacement is available for 10 seconds after Blink, but that opportunity is itself on a further 30 second cooldown. As such…
- 1 sec into fight: 3 Mage instant movement skills vs. 3 Warrior movement skills
- 20 sec: 4 Mage vs. 4 Warrior
- 30 sec: 5 Mage vs. 4 Warrior
- 45 sec: 6 Mage vs. 6 Warrior
- 60 sec: 8 Mage vs. 7 Warrior
And this is with a root and 25% more than Blink’s range on Charge and double the range and a 70% Speed bonus for 3s on Leap.
We’re not particularly behind Mages in terms of mobility. It’s the other stuff you mentioned that gets us.
