Right now I’m a last string OT (I literally only tank 2-3 bosses as a filler) running 31/0/20. I was wondering how bad I would be taking a hit defensively if I went pure Arms? I don’t want to respec twice a week for raids and BG’s. I have all BiS preraid and a few might pieces. I would be losing Last Stand, Imp Shield Block, imp taunt and 5/5 defiance (15% threat generation). Does anyone have any advice or any experience doing this?

31/0/20, what the why? 31/5/15. The crit does more for your damage/threat than those extra prot talents.

And yeah, you’ll be fine tanking as 31/20/0 as well. You arent tanking bosses right? Just some trash mobs during the boss? I ask cause imp shield block is really nice to have for boss, but doesn’t really matter on trash.

Especially since in my head, everything you are offtanking is tauntable.
