I know I am still leveling this alt which will probably be my new main. While spamming dungeons I feel like my ST is pretty weak. Is this the general consensus or is it a L2P issue? AoE feels awesome with warbreaker and bladestorm for one pack and warbreaker and night fae ability for next then sweeping strikes into executes. Just cant seem to not feel weak once we get to bosses.
Also while I’ve made a thread, how are Arms in solo Torghast? Cause I absolutely hated it on my Mage & Rogue.

I can’t speak to consensus. I can say that my single target sustained damage feels a bit low outside of execute windows. Since I run Massacre, once I get to 35%, I don’t feel the single target issue much. Edit Covenant choice will matter too, as Condemn is currently an amazing single-target ability for opening fights, and has pretty nice synergy with Massacre. But if you like the AoE and feel it there, your choice will be to try and balance your build where you see softness, or spike where you see strength.
There is a buff coming to PvE Mortal Strike. I would say when you build for single-target, you can be competitive though Fury is probably still the better pick if you want to compare the tails. If you’re not in BiS gear and mythic raiding, you’d be better off playing what you enjoy and seeing how to optimize what you have.
For Torghast, go Prot. Arms isn’t horrible but… Wow, Prot so much easier.
Fury is in arms warriors dust though when it comes to single target… where do you pick up fury had more st than arms ? The only thing fury is excelling in is m+ for trash aoe.

Overall single target for arms is good if your good , yet still a little under the pack and unable to put dps some other classes. I do see warriors being tuned though to fix this

You don’t just make things up from time to time?
Arms in torghast is easy. I usually end up getting to use condemn regardless of what health the enemy has and I use ragemote right before the boss allowing my abilities to cost no rage for like 1.5 minutes. So much extra cheese on these bosses sometimes.
Purely single target fights can be rough. With unhinged (i dont have access to signet yet) ill use bladestorm/smash/warbreaker and be even with other dps but after that burst window i get shafted. Sometimes i can spend my entire rage bar fishing for overpower procs and get nothing. It can be really miserable just sitting there autoattacking.
Any fight with 2 target + cleave and its go time. Usually finish 1st with ease. Tbh the 20% ms buff will be nice but it doesnt adress the problem that i think every arms has of sometimes being rage starved.
If they changed the reset to a static amount of rage spent rather than a chance proc, that might be a good start.
Arm getting good buff single target, we shall see how it turn out. There always room to improve your gameplay, look up guides on wowhead/icyveins and the skyhold warrior wow discord community.
Arm solo is pretty much like any other dps in torgash, but they do have some neat anima power.

Don’t be scared to wait on autos as Arms. Don’t slam spam and waste rage for a MS off CD. Don’t be scared to pool rage for a CS window.

Yeah but it’s not though.
