Arms Anger Management and Spiteful Serenity are a problem in PVP

I want to line up my cds to optimize my go.
90 sec cd Bladestorm against 45 sec cd Thunderous Roar and Colossus Smash / Warbringer. They fit alongside each other well enough.

The problem is Anger management reduces Bladestorm and Colossus Smash/ Warbringer such that they fall out of sync with Thunderous Roar.

So I find myself waiting on Thunderous Roar to come back up before my go anyway. It’s a wasted talent.

On the flip side spiteful serenity essentially smooths out our burst into dmg overtime making it all the more easier for enemy healers to keep up against us. A terrible talent that assumes we will have the consistent uptime to make it worthwhile

I’d skip this node completely, except that it’s placed at a spot where we must take it.
A horrible situation from multiple angles.

I feel like i’m trying to solve one problem and keep running into others created by either incompetence or negligence.

You don’t need cooldowns to always line up right away for pressure.
You want to be inconsistent in when you ‘go’ in arenas in a game of attrition to catch the other team out of their defensives so they don’t have an answer to your ‘go’.
You want to keep the other team on their toes.

You’re trying to solve a problem that isn’t an issue at all, don’t overthink it.

I understand where you’re coming from, but I just don’t see the benefit in not lining up cds for the strongest possible punch.

The best defensives tend to have longer cooldowns than our offensive cds to allow for these moments

(Logged on dif alt, but i cant be bothered to switch lol)

This ends up being the weakest breeze when you’re stopped in your tracks and have nothing to apply pressure with.

Not exactly the case, there are many ways to stop your go every 90s on the dot through either defensives or CC chains. The more predictable you are in PvP the worse off you will do.

I wish I could skip that node also but it is what it is. You don’t have to use a CD just because its up if waiting for the combo is more advantageous. You just have the option which is cool. Just consider the flipside where you’d be waiting anyway; the real problem is resisting the urge to press a button!

What pisses me off the most actually is how spiteful serenity is garbage, its not even worthy considering taking regardless of the content, dunno why pretend tis a choice node when its designed to be mandatory seeing how the talent tree is rpesented

Just poorly designed and allowed to go live because they don’t respect the players
