Armory update

How do you get the system to update your armory look? I’ve been stuck in this pvp recolor for like a month now and it hasn’t updated my fit. Help, heeeeeeeelp, heeeelp.

YES, I’ve logged in and out multiple times to see if it would update. It has not.

Thank you so much. That makes a lot of sense.

It’s been broken since day one.
I have one character with ~25,000 achievement points, and you can see this one does not have that many.

The character with 25,000? They’ve had that many achievement points for like at least 2 years.
Blizzard doesn’t update your armory pretty much ever. They’ll update your actual stats and all the other stuff that you’re doing, but as far as your achievements go, they don’t do any of that. They say they do, but it’s certainly doesn’t work.

So that’s why you’ll see a bunch of people in here, trying to compare achievements to you or using your achievements against you without acknowledging the fact that every single character still has separate achievements in many cases. Still trying to piece it together, the achievement system.

So when somebody tries telling you that you don’t know what you’re talking about because of your achievements or anything else, you can just safely ignore them because you know what you’ve done and you know what you’re capable of LOL.

As far as the appearance goes? I don’t know. I think you’re going to kind of have to just suck it up. Because it’s still broken. Last time I had my priest on here it had transmog that I was using from literally 6 years ago. Even though I frequently log into every one of my characters and I come onto the forums with some kind of consistency…

Yeah im permanently stuck in my frost mog. Remember how good the OG armory was? Where you could customize your poses?

Yup :+1::+1: figured that out on another alt lol but maybe thats a good thing? Put a low effort or more relaxed mog in the 1st slot vs your :fire::fire::fire: mog ingame? :man_shrugging: Sounds like a good feature for ppl that doesnt want their mog copied from their Armory page. Ijs :victory_hand:

It really doesn’t. If you think about it, if you want the armory to update with your current mog you have to PAY GOLD to update slot 1. It’s just another part of the xmog system designed to drain gold. This is a departure from the original system where it was always your current mog.

True, the mog you see now is my 1st slot saved mog, im in game, a whole different mog :smiling_face_with_sunglasses: :victory_hand:

To above commenter, there is no gold drain because its not actually changing the mog, just only showing whatever appearance you have saved in the 1st slot, so your 1st save slot is tied to your publicly shown Armory mog. Sounds good to me :victory_hand:

But if you want to change your look on the forums, you have to change your xmog slot in-game.

When I wanted to change to this set for Midnight I had to change 2 xmog slots because I wanted to save the old first one too.

Ok no disrespect, but then thats on you. The Forums isnt the game itself, so I wouldnt be so invested in how I look on the Forums anyway. Just come up with a perma mog you would like ppl to see publicly and use it in the 1st slot :man_shrugging: :victory_hand:
