hello I’m stuck on a quest where I need to loot an item from the armored vaultbot. I’ve been camping the spawn location for hours and no spawn, while rares aroundd it have spwaned multiple times. Whats the scoop?
Unfortunately this is a game hint, CS can’t provide those. Did you check out guides, like on wowhead?

yup I did the answers are .’…no body knows…seems glitched’.
I filed a bug report. will move on and try to catch it another day.
I’m in Android and far from home, but I found a post that had it at 3hours roughly. Also hints that it can spawn in either timeline, which means talking to Chromie I believe, though there’s a toy I think that takes you between the timelines.
I saw nothing about glitches, save for the hunter and warlock pet taunts.

The glitched comment was a paraphrase. really referred to comments like:
" I’ve been looking for it for over a week and I’m convinced I either have the absolute worst luck or it doesn’t actually exist and I’m being trolled -_-"
I found it in alternate timeline but it SHOULD spawn in the main timeline too.
I also saw the 3 hour comment, seems a bit excessive to me. should be some easier mechanic to get folks on quests to move along. or indicator to port to the other time line. something.
In my experience it is almost always up in the Alternate Timeline. You need to have a Vaultbox Key to open the one in the Alternate Timeline as the scrapper doesn’t work there.

Except you can’t get a vault key without doing it the normal way first, so if no one can do that, it doesn’t matter how “available” it is in the Alternate Timeline.
Please dont necro threads start your own one instead of necroing a 2yr old thread things can change between then and now.

On a day that the Altered Time quest is not up you can go there and wait. The Armored Vaultbot is part of the quest chain from killing the prince in Altered Time. Make a group in the group finder if you need to.

it takes 3 hours now n they open the cave once a week now. They losing people over these changes.
